BABA PASS TREK
This trip offers an incredible insight into the remote Spiti and Pin Valleys of Himachal Pradesh. From the lush green Kulu Valley, enter the starkly beautiful Spiti Valley, visiting ancient gompas of Ki, Dhankar, Lalung and scattered little villages. Ki gompa and Kibbar, the highest permanent inhabited village in the world, situated at the altitude of 14,200 ft/4,303 m.
After crossing the Baba pass, the landscape changes dramatically, with the barren lunarscape of Spiti being replaced by thick forests of pine, cedar and deodar. The trek ends at Shimla, the capital of the Himanchal Pradesh.

Day by Day Itinerary
DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
You will be met on arrival and transferred at the lounge of International airport and transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 02 Train DELHI to CHANDIGARH (4 hours) and Drive to MANALI (7 hours)
Early morning you will be transferred to the New Delhi railway station to board train Shatabdi Express to Chandigarh. Assistance upon arrival and drive to Manali. Evening check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 03 AT MANALI
Day reserve to enjoy one of the most beautiful and popular hill station of the country. Visit some temples and last minute shopping for the trip. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 Drive MANALI to LOSSAR (7 hours)
Drive along the Beas River upstream towards Rohtang la. In summer, one can see masses of Indian tourists and honeymooners visiting this highest pass of the area and to have an natural ice cream from snow patches. Cross the Rohtang La and turn right to drive following Chandra river up to Lossar after crossing Kunjum La. Overnight in the tent.
DAY 05 Drive LOSSAR TO KAZA (4 hours)
After breakfast drive through the village of Lossar and stop to visit the monastery. Camp will be set in the left back of river. Day visit to world famous Ki monastery and highest village Gete of the region. Eveving back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 06 Drive KAZA to MIKIM (SAGNAM) via DHANKAR (6 to 7 hours)
After an early breakfast drive to a most incredibly-situated gompa built in 6th century called
Dhankar. Return to the main road and drive to Pin valley. Camp near the village. Dinner and overnight in the tent.
DAY 07 Trek SAGNAM to TILING (4 to 5 hours)
The trek begins by crossing the river. A short up-hill walk through rocky terrain which offers a wonderful views of the Pin valley. Dinner and overnight in the tent.
DAY 08 Trek TILING to MUD PURKHA (4 to 5 hours)
Following the Pin river for a while, a short steep and gradual climb up the hillside along vast meadows covered with a great variety of mountain flowers and berries. Say hello Namaste or Julleh to Localshepherds en route. Overnight camping opposite the village of Mud lies across the Pin river.
DAY 09 Trek MUD PURKO to BASE CAMP (5 to 6 hours)
The day begins with a gradual climb. Valley is full of Flowers and an ariel view of the valley. Few hours below the Baba Pass camp will be set for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 10 Trek BASE CAMP to PODAL THACH over BABA PASS (6 to 7 hours)
Day starts walking over moraine, boulder fields and a final patch of a snow up to the top. A steep descent to the campsite is located on the banks of the Baba river. Overnight camp at the base of Baba pass.
DAY 11 Trek PODAL THACH to MARE (5 to 6 hours)
After breakfast start with a gradual descent down the valley. Cross a junction of the two streams and follow the trail up to the most beautiful campsite. Dinner with camp fire and overnight.
DAY 12 Trek MARE to KAFNI (4 to 5 hours)
Descend through an incredible mixed cedar forest till you reach Kafni village. Camp will be set just above the road head. Local barber shop will be available at this point to look different. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 13 Drive to SANGLA (4 hours)
Start drive safari to Sangla. Most picturesque place on earth facing Chota Kailash and snow clad peak from your opened zipped tent. Afternoon Visit to an incredible old fort of Kamru. Dinner and overnight at an apple orchard in the tent.
DAY 14 Drive to SARAHAN (5-6 hours)
Start drive after a full eye view of calling mountains and an overwhelming gesture to Sarahan, the summer capital of Rampur Bushahr. Afternoon visit the famous temple of Bhim Kali. Overnight camping.
Day 15 Drive SARAHAN to SHIMLA via RAMPUR (8 hours)
Start drive to Shimla passing through Rampur known as a kingdom of Rampur Bushahr and Narkhanda famous for its ski slopes and training institute for winter sports. Arrive Shimla in the afternoon and check in at hotel for the hot shower and enjoy the modern luxury.
DAY 16 At SHIMLA
Day for explore the capital of Himanchal Pradesh. One of the most beautiful and favorite destination for honeymooners. Surrounded by the Oak, Deodar and Rudodendron forest. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 17 SHIMLA to DELHI by Train
Morning you will be transferred to the railway station to connect toy train up to Kalka and connect train to Delhi. Late evening you will be assisted at New Delhi railway station to transfer at your hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 19 DEPARTURE DELHI
Today you will be transferred to the International airport to connect flight for onward destination.
